What is YardPop?

Yard Pop is a sustainable & creative yard sign rental company designed to make celebrations BIG!, colorful, and unforgettable. We create and deliver one-of-a-kind yard displays for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, welcomes, milestones, and just about any reason worth celebrating.

You choose the why. We bring the POP! 

Do I buy the signs or rent them?

YardPop signs are not available to purchase (YET)! We deliver, install, and pick up your display so you don't have to worry about storing a giant collection of party decorations afterward.

We love that our signs can be celebrated over and over again instead of becoming a one-day party decoration destined for the landfill.

What's included with my rental?

Your YardPop rental includes:

• Your selected personalized display
• Delivery to your location
• Professional setup
• Stakes and installation materials
• Pickup when your celebration is over

Your only job is to enjoy the surprise, take lots of pictures, and celebrate!

How long does the display stay up?

Our standard rental is for 24 hours.

Want to keep the POP going a little longer? Additional rental days are available for an additional fee, depending on our schedule and inventory.

Can I surprise someone with a YardPop?

Absolutely! That's one of our favorite things to do!

YardPop is perfect for surprise birthdays, graduations, welcome-homes, anniversaries, congratulations, and all those "I just want to make someone smile" moments.

If you're sending a surprise to someone else's home, please make sure you have permission to use the property and that we will have safe access to the yard.

Do I have to be home when you deliver?

Nope!

As long as we have access to the property and clear instructions for where you'd like the display, you don't need to be home for setup or pickup. 

We'll quietly POP in, set everything up, and let the celebration begin!

When will my YardPop be delivered?

We typically install displays between 8 am and 11 am the day of your celebration.

Because our delivery route changes from day to day, we may not be able to guarantee an exact installation time. If you have a special timing request, let us know when you book and we'll do our best to accommodate it.

Can I request a specific placement in my yard?

Absolutely. Tell us where you'd like your display when you place your order.

Our displays are generally installed in a visible area of the front yard close to the house, where they can be safely seen from the street. We'll use our best judgment to create a great-looking display while making sure the installation is safe and secure.

What does my yard need to be like for installation?

We need a safe, accessible area for installation.

Before we arrive, please:

• Pick up toys, decorations, hoses, and other yard debris.
• Clean up pet waste.
• Turn off sprinklers around the installation area.
• Make sure gates are unlocked or provide us with access instructions.
• Complete any mowing or lawn maintenance before installation.

And please let us know about anything unusual we should know before arriving!

Can YardPop be installed in a backyard?

Our standard installations are in front yards where the display is safely accessible and visible from the street.

If you'd like your display somewhere else, contact us before booking and we'll see what we can do.

What happens if it rains?

A little rain isn't going to stop the POP!

Our signs are designed for outdoor use and can handle normal weather conditions. However, severe weather—including dangerous winds, lightning, hurricanes, or other unsafe conditions—may require us to delay, reschedule, or cancel an installation.

Safety always comes first—for you, our team, and our signs.

If severe weather affects your order, we'll contact you as soon as possible to work out the best solution.

Can I move the signs?

Please don't move, remove, or rearrange the signs yourself.

Our signs are carefully installed and can be damaged if they're pulled out, moved, stepped on, or handled incorrectly.

If you need something moved, just contact us. We'll be happy to help when we're able.

Can my kids or pets play with the signs?

As tempting as they are, Yard Pop displays are not toys or climbing structures.

Please keep children and pets from playing on, leaning against, pulling on, or climbing around the display. Some of the installation materials can be sharp, and the signs can be damaged if they're handled.

Can I mow my lawn while my YardPop is installed?

Please mow before we arrive.

Lawnmowers, weed trimmers, and other lawn equipment can seriously damage the signs. Please wait until we've picked up your display before doing any mowing or trimming near it.

Can I attach balloons or decorations to my YardPop?

Please don't attach anything to the display unless we've specifically approved it.

Certain materials—including balloons, tape, adhesives, and decorations—can damage the signs.

If you have an idea for adding something special, ask us first. We love creative ideas!

What happens if something gets damaged?

We understand that accidents happen.

Our signs remain the property of YardPop throughout the rental. Customers are responsible for lost, missing, or damaged pieces caused by moving, mowing, pets, children, weather conditions caused by neglect, or other avoidable damage.

Any applicable replacement or repair charges will be communicated to you.

How far in advance should I book?

The sooner, the better!

Popular dates—especially weekends, graduations, holidays, and major celebrations—can fill quickly.

We also love a last-minute celebration, so if your event is coming up soon, check with us! We'll always do our best to accommodate you if we have availability.

Do you accept last-minute orders?

Sometimes!

Last-minute orders are subject to availability and may require an additional rush fee depending on how quickly we need to prepare and deliver your display.

When in doubt, ask. We may be able to make the POP happen!

Can I rent a YardPop for more than one day?

Yes! Extended rentals may be available depending on the display and our schedule.

Additional rental days are available for an additional fee.

Can I customize my display?

That's the fun part!

YardPop is all about making your celebration feel personal. Depending on the package you choose, you can customize names, ages, messages, colors, themes, and other details.

If you have an idea that you don't see on our website, ask us. We LOVE a creative challenge.

Can you make something completely custom?

We can often accommodate custom requests!

Custom artwork, specialty signs, logos, unusual themes, or large displays may require additional design time and/or fees. Please contact us as early as possible for custom projects.

Can I rent YardPop signs for a business, school, or organization?

Absolutely!

YardPop isn't just for birthdays. Our displays can be a fun way to celebrate:

What areas does YardPop serve?

We currently serve Buncombe County. 

Because we personally deliver and install every display, our service area is intentionally limited. This allows us to provide the kind of personal service and creative attention we want every Yard Pop customer to receive.

Don't see your area listed? Contact us anyway—we may be able to accommodate your celebration for an additional delivery fee.

What if I need to cancel or change my order?

We understand that plans change!

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your reservation. Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling options depend on how far in advance you contact us and whether your display has already been prepared.

We must be given 48 hours notice to cancel. 

What happens if I accidentally give you the wrong address?

Please double-check your address before submitting your order.

If we arrive at the wrong address because incorrect information was provided, additional delivery or reinstallation fees may apply.

If you realize there's a mistake, contact us immediately and we'll do everything we can to fix it.

Can I take pictures of my YardPop?

Please do!

We LOVE seeing your Yard Pop celebrations.

Take all the pictures, videos, boomerangs, family photos, pet photos, graduation photos—you name it!

And if you post them, tag @YardPopsigns so we can celebrate with you.

Can I keep any of the signs?

No—the signs are part of our rental collection and will be picked up after your rental period.

That's actually one of the things we love most about Yard Pop: you get all the fun without having to buy, store, or eventually throw away a bunch of party decorations.
